A LITTLE ABOUT RACHEL:
Rachel is a native Texan who loves Jesus and believes avocado/guac should be a part of every meal. Her maiden name is Durban and her married name is Rice, so you may hear her called both.
She appreciates a good pun, a strong cup of coffee, tattoos, well-told stories, fried plantains, and string lights. She believes laughter is a vital part of life and truly a gift from God.
She has been on staff since 2013 with a wonderful non-profit organization working in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and the US. She lived in Haiti for three years and has been calling Austin, Tx “home” since 2016.
She’s married to her best friend and they have the silliest-most-wonderful golden-doodle, Rubie Joy. Check out @rubiejoy_ on Insta if you need to smile.
